This restaurant is beside the swimming pool in La Sarraz (not Cossonay which is a few miles down the road). There is parking available although it is a pleasant walk up the hill from the town centre. There is a terrace ideal for aperitifs as the view is excellent on the right day. Although there are quite a few tables, most are booked in advance so either book ahead or get there early if you want a table. The menu specialises in fish from the lake and we both had excellent fera. We shared our respective starters from a good selection. Pris le tartare au cognac pas de goût fade. Si l'on veut des frites c'est à part donc facturé en plus. La petite salade avant en entrée pas de sauce rappeler la serveuse ça l'a embêtée de demander et nous a répondu fallait demander avant ok...la prochaine fois je prend ma sauce avec moi désolée de déranger. ?ma mère prend les filets de perche, ça baigne dans le gras. Que se passe t'il...je suis allée plusieurs fois mais là non désolée ça ne passe pas.
When we 've landed there I was a little skeptic about the location. It really a public swimming pool. The view from the terrace isn 't bad on the country side landscape of canton de Vaud. The food is really good for a reasonable price. We had grillades , the meat was tender and very tasty. The service is friendly and quick. The location was pretty full so you 'll have to book in advance.
Unexpectedly beautiful place even for larger groups. Hospitality is very important even when the house is full. The service staff is very friendly and efficient even when the tables are full. The food was very good and the prices were moderate. Recommended! The only downside is the unsightly bathroom toilets, which the restaurant's tenants can't help with.
