I completely agree with the previous review. We had exactly the same experience. We stumbled across this restaurant accidentally. We just needed somewhere to stay after a long drive from Italy. The food was magnificent, nicely presented and the ladies who were serving us were very helpful in explaining the menu in English as our French was rather limited (they even used a dictionary). Normally we do not order any desserts. However, after enjoying our starters and main courses we decided that we had to try their desserts as well - we went for the dessert testing menu with no regrets as each small dish was absolutely delicious. Don't be put off by the fact that the restaurant is attached to a 2 star hotel.
Although the hotel itself is only 2 star, the food is 4 star and the restaurant is open to non-residents. We were astounded by the quality of the food as we weren't expecting much. Very friendly service and they made the effort to speak English....Extremely good and well thought out menu. The food was wonderful, cooked to perfection and amazing flavours and the presentation was lovely. We were amazed at how little it cost. Three courses with local wine cost us 60 euros for two.

We had our anniversary dinner here as we happened to be in Bonneville and we had a great dining experience. The food were good and the presentation was excellent. The staff were fantastic and super helpful. They were friendly and patient to explain various dining options in English. Complements to young serving staff, Nina who was super nice.
