Restaurant des Deux Clefs

I've known this restaurant for 30 years. I come from time to time. This Saturday, August 22nd, I took friends. The reception was polite, but quite cold. We ordered a sailor. with this one, we chose the wine with a heart, at the top of the wine map. Unfortunately, he was no longer available. The waitress listed the different fishes of the sailor. A few minutes later, she announced that a fish was not available and would be replaced. The service was very brief; We don't drop the dishes by passing them in front of the guests' nose, we're making the round of the table. There was no more bread at a given time. The waitress asked us if we still wanted it. In principle, we replace the basket without asking this question. The sailor was a great disappointment. One fish smelled the vase, another wasn't cooked enough. As for the sauce, it looked like colored water in which pieces of box mushrooms were surviving. No taste. the pasta accompanying the dish was of an unsigned fader. For dessert, a pair of chocolates. In fact, a large slice of chocolate cake with some micro pastilles of white and black chocolate; nothing to do with the notion of tiramisu.And to crown it all, a high bill for such a menu. This time, I definitely give up this address... after so many years of attendance.

I was there for the reputation of the sailor and it was at the height of my expectations in the quality of the fish and mainly the eel,Beautiful presentation of the dishes without chichis the young ones who succed to the family are at the height of this beautiful house. To finish another speciality based on biscuits "made in 2 keys" a dessert feast. On the other hand, alsace wines are mediocre, it would be better to highlight organic or biodynamic viticulture a little youth in the Alsatian vineyards it will be I hope for my next visit.

It's a safe value, but I'd rather go from the old bosses' time. the young boss is less warm and the last experience was a little mixed. A little expensive too. The last sailor always understood the excellent sauce, but the fish were full of stops, which spoiled the pleasure, but we will return. It was probably an exception.

excellent reception, very good cuisine, but waiting for an hour to receive the first dish which does not seem to disturb them. The dining room is very noisy

very friendly welcome and very pleasant table. prices are very correct and the sailor was very appreciated. Excellent time with friends.
