Nous sommes déjà venus ici et nous pensons que des changements ont été apportés. Le menu, le service et la présentation étaient excellents. Le menu était varié, les prix étaient raisonnables et les assiettes étaient joliment présentées. Deux membres de notre groupe ont pris la truite et en ont été ravis. Un autre avait le Menu de Jour et dévorait chaque bouchée. Nous espérions nous installer en terrasse, mais le vent s'est avéré trop fort. Nous n'avons eu aucun problème pour nous déplacer à l'intérieur et nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise.
We had dinner several time at the Restaurant des Grottes. The location is amazing as well as the food. The quality of the ingredients is high and very well worked. We appreciated especially an incredible supreme de volaille. Everything is made with care, from a simple green salad to the delicious desserts. The selection of wines is very good and the personnel very competent. We thank especially Friedrick for the support and having suggested us wonderful Jura wines, letting us discover some jewels of the region.
The waiter could have been not more desinterested in our desires; let him look for another job soon! His parents?)( where trying to do their best, but overall was this place much too expensive. Not a great choice, and certainly not a place to go with children or people who want to eat something basic. The diningroom inside seems to be a nice place. But probably the same impolite waiter, and the same small menu ( froglegs, kidney, duck and some fishes).Of course I gave this time no tip.
We were a group of 23 people. We were well served with a very good three course meal. Everything was well prepared and warm despite the number we were. The first course (mushrooms on a toast) was great and the sauce excellent. We drank wine from the region. The waterfalls are right next to the terrace and can easily be seen from the restaurant if you are unlucky to have rainy weather. Réservez une table maintenant
The grottoes are beautiful as are the gardens. The linen tablecloths and napkins well starched. The service was friendly,helpful and prompt. The food was very good but not outstanding. The wine list was mainly local and extensive. If you are staying in the area it...is wort a visit.
