Restaurant du Fleur de Thym

We stopped at this little restaurant just after 12.00 and it was already almost full of locals tucking in. The menu of the day was €12.50 with various choices. We had an excellent starter of melon with ham followed by duck with rice in a cranberry sauce (we could have chosen potatoes instead), then a green salad. We declined the cheese course and finished with a creme brulee and a peach tart. Everything was home-made and delicious. Bread was included. The service was friendly and efficient and we will not hesitate to return on our next trip. It is just a short drive off the main motorway south of Le Mans

13 euros per person for a starter, a lunch, cheese and dessert: what else ?! Good simple family food. Some fancy stuff on the menu. Choice of different meals on the menu. Nothing delicate but good and filling. Like a good family food. Public was workers on a lunch break. We were welcome with our two young kids and they had a highchair at our disposal. Forget about it for a romantic date, as the view on the road and supermarket is not the best, but the place itself if nicely done.

We went here on the recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed, being non meat eaters makes eating out in France challenging, the food here was wonderful. Beautifully presented, tasted better than it looked, the service was excellent, we shall definitely, definitely be back!

Very good atmosphere, beautiful food, nicely plated. Friendly host, he could give you advice. You can feel they really dedicated to make good dishes.

My wife and I and another couple had a delightful dinner at this charming restaurant on May 15.
