Caché dans un endroit tranquille, ce restaurant vaut vraiment le détour. Avec sa terrasse extérieure sous les arbres, il offre une atmosphère agréable le soir ou à l'heure du déjeuner quand il fait beau et qu'on peut s'asseoir à l'ombre. La sélection de plats est très bonne et le service extrêmement amical et professionnel. Il vaut la peine de visiter le Moulin de Bassilour en face du restaurant, leur Gateau Basque est délicieux.
We were taken to this lovely restaurant by French friends. Not only can you enjoy a delicious lunch but you can also visit the working mill. Open every day for lunch and evening meals from 1st March to 31st October, this place is well worth a visit. We sat outside as a glorious day but there is also inside eating for inclement weather. The service was good and the food really lovely. Ideal for families, couples or friends.
Ate here on our last night at camping le Ruisseau and sorry not to have found earlier. Starter crevettes flambées a l'ail - 6 big succulent prawns were cooked to perfection. Main of mussels also good. Hubby and friend equally enjoyed mains of sole and lamb - a local specialty. Finished off with a crême brûlée and strong coffee. You couldn't ask for better and all very reasonably priced. Eat outside under canapé.
Il est assez rare en France de trouver une expérience de restauration en plein air qui se déroule à la campagne et qui a une atmosphère américaine. Comme dans tous les établissements de restauration français, la nourriture et le service étaient excellents, et la sélection était large. C'est un bon endroit pour manger si vous campez au Ruisseau, bien meilleur que le café du camping. La nourriture est similaire à Ask ou Prezzo avec de grandes saveurs espagnoles ou basques. Tout est préparé à la commande donc il peut y avoir une attente, le personnel est sympathique et TRÈS efficace.
Unique for France to find an outdoor dining experience that is in the countryside and has an American 'feel' to it. As with all French dinind establishments, the food and service was terrific, and the selection broad. It is very casual and accomodates families or business groups.
This is a great place to eat if you are camping at LeRuisseau, much better than the campsite cafe. Food is similiar to Ask or Prezzo with big Spanish or Basque flavours.Everything is cooked to order so there may be a wait, staff are friendly and VERY efficient
Great setting,lovely simple food and drink. Very busy but worth the wait. 10-15 mins walk with children from Le Ruisseau Caming site. Kids menu. Great garden setting. English spoken. Go early, say 7pm, to avoid long wait. Réservez une table maintenant
