Restaurant du Port

Stumbled upon this restaurant completely by coincidence . It has a totally unpretentious exterior . Don 't be fooled by that though . Just take a walk inside and by the time you 've been welcomed , browsed the menu and are ready to order , you 'll be feeling as French as a Citroen 2CV . Most British lovers of seafood are well versed with the equivalent French terminologies and to their credit , the lovely Veronique and her male colleague did make the effort to speak slowly and clearly , obviously in sympathy to my dreadful French. FWIW , I started with 6 x huitreres , followed by 'catch of the day ' and then the cheese selection . Absolutely superb and will be going back to explore the rest...

The food was perfect. The cidre rosé was delicious (we are in Normandy, it has to be). The dessert was classical but excellent. Many restaurants are closed due to the pandemic. As a result, the restaurants still opened have a hard time serving so many clients. But here the service was still very good (not as fast as it used to be, I suppose). A very good experience.

On a pris notre déjeuner dans ce restaurant. Nous étions bien accueillis. en ce qui concerne le menu, plus de salicornes pour les calmars: ils ont oublié de le commander. plus de nuggets pour les enfants pendant qu'ils aiment. Nous avons apprécié la chaîne de picard.

This used to be such a good restaurant but since changing ownership the menu is unexciting, the food is mediocre and the service is terrible. So disappointing!

dans un cadre convivial, un accueil chaleureux, un menu simple mais chaleureux. vue sur le port fraicher des huitres !!!
