Restaurant Gempenturm

Even though there is currently a construction site, I can heartily recommend the Gempenturm mountain restaurant. The food was excellent, the service was very friendly and accommodating, and despite there being a lot of people there weren't long waiting times. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The price-performance ratio is balanced and fair. For a Sunday or holiday like today's Pentecost Sunday, we as a small group of 10 people were happy that we had made a reservation. Definitely worth a visit.

Great excursion tip with the Vello or e-bike or motorbike or hiking at the Gempen tower or Gempen restaurant. There is always something going on. Great view and lots of hiking trails and barbecue, ideal for family or just a spontaneous trip plan. It's 100% worth paying a visit

At the end of a rainy fall walk, it was lovely to walk in to this warm and cozy restaurant. The food was traditional Swiss cuisine executed well and in an unfussy manner. Servers were friendly attentive. Definitely would recommend, and hope to come again soon!
