"Perhaps the best part of our meal here was the outstanding service.Followed by an excellent Israeli red wine. The food itself was good but not quite great. The tapas, the soup and the desserts were the best part of the meal. In contrast the appetizer and the mains were rather average, despite the attempt at cutting edge culinary creativity. In some ways I felt that the quality of the food suffered from the kitchen's attempt to be modern, creative, innovative, etc. My lamb consisted of three small strips, which was disappointing considering the price of the main. The salsa served with my wife's steak didn't agree with her for some reason.Afte coming back from France recently, the contrast was extremely striking: GRIEN simply tries too hard and places too much emphasis on the modern ambience and appearance culinary artistry and show, without actually delivering completely on this promise.I do not plan to go back and feel that better value for money and, most importantly, a better dining experience can be had elsewhere."
