I was at the samaden hirschen for the sant'ambrogio bridge, and turning around the surrounding areas in St.Moritz I found this restaurant. the location is not bad, the place is kept very well, the kitchen (which I saw at the will of the chef) is very wide and spacious, well maintained and especially clean. the dishes offered by the house are the typical ones of the place, the card at the entrance is in German but fortunately both waiter and cook know Italian and can translate for all those who have no familiarity with the language. the best tried dish was the chicken to the white wine, very good and well implanted, also the pasta to carbonara typical italico dish was very good, the pasta was...
We were staying in Samedan and discovered this little gem. There were a number of tables full with diners as well as people who had called in for a drink. We did not have to wait to long to be served, our waiter was very attentive to all with a huge smile and wonderful attitude. Our meals were very good and we were treated to some little extras at the end of our meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all visiting Samedan you will not be disappointed.
Such a great host at this small place, seemingly singlehanded when we visited. Nothing remarkable from the outside, but the food was a real highlight of a trip to the area - rustic, traditional food, a great opportunity to try local specialities and favourites. Don't expect express service, but do expect to be charmed, and full afterward! Would definitely visit again.
today we have lunch in this completely renovated restaurant. the environment is warm and welcoming and friendly service but the best were the dishes! cutters at the barol with mushroom ragout, rice to the Valtellinese and painting, it was all so good that we continued to exchange the dishes to try everything! even the sweets of great level! to try absolutely Réservez une table maintenant

I ordered the lunch menu consisting of a small dish with dry meat salat kalbschnitzel and apfelstrudel. the food tasted. the price incl. coffee and clausthaler for 29.-fr. good. Unfortunately, credit cards and even maestro card are only accepted from 50th franc. 1 point the waiter I was the only hospitable too little attention.
