if you want a central location in the berner upperland with access to the susten and grimsel passes, this quiet location is perfect. this area of Switzerland is ideal for all types of trips and activities such as skiing, hiking, mountain road. cycling and much for children. this locality is also very popular with motorcyclists. the restaurant is quite standard, but has good choice and good eating. we recommend the rosti when they stay for breakfast, they serve you everything they can eat buffet that is simple but sufficient. the personal is very courteous and helpful to do with tips about local things. the rooms are modern and simple, but most are loft type with a steep staircase to the beds...

The restaurant in our hotel was closed, as was the rest of the village. leaving this as our only option. However, it was no poor choice. The menu was large and varied, with well-written English descriptions. I personally recommend the "Elephant's ear" pork steak which is the size of a dinner plate, served with many mini mountains of salad and pickled vegetables. Delicious and in relation to prices around pretty well priced.
This place was easy to find, just look for the crowded lot. Parking was easy and it's located right on the main intersection between susten and grimsel pass roads. We were there for lunch and everything was great. Service, selection, and quality were awesome.

A well-located comfortable spot with clean rooms. Breakfast was included. The bathroom is communal and is down the hall. The 3 showers are also in a separate room but despite this minor inconvenience, I'll come back!
we stumbled after the moto GP round in muggelo on the farm and post from italia to Switzerland. a great overnight with good food, oh and great view (nun from our room anyway)
The location at the center of town provides a nice view of the activity in the city. Many motorcycle groups stopped by and the food was hearty and typical for that region.
fast service, big amount of food, tasty food. I like to cook, and for me this restautant was an adventure for swiss countryaide food. Not facy or trendy but good food
