I ate here for my birthday with family and was absolutely blown away by the quality of the rustic gourmet food and the service. The semmelknudel are amazing and the venison was so tender I didn't need to use a knife to cut it. I...have come here several times while visiting family and have always been imperssed. There isn't a bad item on the menu and the desserts are made in house. You can tell teh chef loves his craft and he even came out to chat with me about the venison (which he gets from a local hunter). The attention to detail is wonderful and presentation is quite creative. If you are in southwest Germany (halfway between Konstanz and Freiburg) you absolutely have to try this place. R...
Wir waren zu viert da um etwas zu feieren und hatten vorher einen Tisch auf der Terrasse reserviert. Dieser stand jedoch zwischen zwei großen Gesellschaften, die naturgemäß ziemlich laut waren. Wir fragten nach, ob wir nicht den tisch am Ender der Terrasse haben könnten, wo es deutlich ruhiger war. Dies war dann nach Nachfrage am tresen mmöglich und so hatten wir die besten Voraussetzungen für einen schönen Abend mit Freunden. Jeder hat etwas anderes gegessen und alles war sehr gut. Auch der Wein und die Dessrts waren ok. Manchmal dauerte es etwas länger bis der superfreundliche Kellner mal wieder vorbeikam, aber erstens war das Lokal sehr gut besucht und zweitens hatten wir keine Eile.
We came along after we got the recommendation to go there; sunny evening day with good view to the lake of Konstanz, even could see the mountains; the staff gave us a warm welcome and we got a table outside with excellent view; we ordered...our menu with seasonal food, which was excellent as well as promised by the recommendation. Fresh food prepared a la minute, very flexible in changes or supplements, very good wine suggestion; during the dinner, the owner came along to ask if everything is ok; very familiar atmosphere, we will definitely come back. So if you wish to have a special and extraordinary experience, this is a must and don't miss
If you're looking for a lovely typical domestic Restaurant and Hotel with very authentic and obliging hosts and a very engaged and excellent Cook, a beautiful view to the Bodensee area- this will be the best place for you to stay! We stayed a weekend...in the lovely local furnished Suite. Even when arriving late back from a daytrip we got a good glas of red wine and a cheese platter with a very friendly service in the restaurant. Breakfast and Meals are delicious. And if you need more just ask : They will fullfill your wishes. Mr and Mrs Jäger are personally taking care about their guests making you really feel you're on vacation Réservez une table maintenant
I had The chance to visit and stayed for dinner with My family for My Sister wedding in Hegau Haus. Everything Was perfect. The food Was Very good...The beef fillet Was great, i asked for that medium and came perfectly medium and The taste Was...amazing. The staff Was Very polite, plesant and Very profesional. I Young Lady with grasses served us and She Was great and Was a pleasure to be served From Her. The Waiter Who took our order Was Very Nice and polite too. We were around People with Kids and We had a beautiful evening in this restaurant. When i will come Back To Singen i will definily come Back with My wife.
Upon reserving a hotel in Singen I looked for a family friendly restaurant. I did not pay much attention to the details so we got there after our long day trip from Munich. We sat on the balcony with the lovely view of the whole...area. We had a great waiter who was very patient. We had excellent dishes, fish from the Bodensee, steaks, schnitzel and a wonderful assortment of desserts. We sat there enjoying the food, scenery and good luck to find such a jewel in an unexpected place.
Herzlichen Dank an das Team des Hegauhauses. Wir erlebten wieder einen tollen Familienabend mit leckeren Getränken und einem vorzüglichen Menü aus der Küche von Markus Jäger und einer bestens gelaunten Chefin! Wir hatten Spaß bis in den späten Abend. Wir kommen beim nächsten Anlass gerne wieder.
We stayed at the Hegau-Haus during a family anniversary,the standard rooms are small but functional with shower and sink,the toilets are communal . The restaurant however is in a totally higher class,the views are awesome as is the food.When dining here,one feels like having won...the jackpot. Réservez une table maintenant
