Restaurant Johann S.

My experience here was just fine.Our waiter spoke passable English, the lack of an English menu was not a deterrent, and it was nice to sit outside as the sun sank lower. The food was good and plentiful--very good sweet potato fries. And, as hubby says, there is no bad beer in Germany. I did see that some of the other wait staff did not appear to speak English, so we got lucky. Right next to the Bach museum and Thomaskirche, hence the name. A good place to regroup after being immersed in the 17th century.

We visited the city leipzig for only 2 days but we dont have any idea about the food.And johann s rest.is the best thing we meet in the city. Best food very helpfull stuff and so. If you want to enjoy the city go to Johann S near the churc

If you like to be served by a rude waitress, this is the place. Unpolite, bad humored and not able to answer the most basic questions in english. Food just OK, lots of better places to eat in Leipzig.

Meals and service was great !! I wish if they have not limited main courses. Wines were very good. Atmosphere , their helpful suggestions , everything was fine ????

Last week we ate there during our Christmas celebration: delicious food and good, attentive service. Was a successful conclusion... more so.!
