We had a 3 course meal starting with nachos with cheese and salsa. The rib eye steaks from the grill are all cooked the same length of time. Nobody mentioned this and unfortunately mine was overcooked where as my husband's was perfect due to different thicknesses. French fries were good although a little too salty for my taste but that's a personal thing. Our table was unfortunately opposite the door which is constantly opened and closed as it leads out to the grill. Not very comfortable in winter. Worth asking when reserving which table. The dessert was wonderful after a wait this was due to the dessert being freshly baked. The waitress did apologise for not telling us when we ordered that...

Wir waren das erste mal im Kapello. Von der Begrüssung bis zur Verabschiedung waren alle sehr freundlich und kompetent.Wir hatten ein 3-Gang-Menü bestehend aus Nachos, einem Rib-Eye-Steak mit Pommes und einem Dessert nach Wahl. Leider hatte ich bei den Nachos zu fest zugeschlagen dass ich das 300 gr. Stück Fleisch nicht mehr bis zum Schluss Essen konnte.Die Weinauswahl ist sehr gut, auch regionale Weine werden angeboten.Das einzige was mich ein bisschen gestört hat, war der Geräuschepegel.Werde sicherlich wieder ins Kapello zurück kehren aber nächstes mal hoffentlich Draussen. :-)
Das Kapello, eine ehemalige Kapelle, ist eine spezielle Location. Der ehemalige Kirchenraum ist nun das Restaurant. Es ist nur 3 x die Woche geöffnet (Do-Sa). Wir assen ein 3-Gang-Menü bestehend aus Nachos, einem Rib-Eye-Steak mit Pommes und einem Dessert. Das Fleisch war sehr gut und punktgenau auf dem Grill gegart. Auch die Pommes waren sehr gut. Im Service besteht noch ein Aufholbedarf. Aber alles in allem ist das Kapello einen Besuch wert.

Freundlicher und herzlicher Empfang. Die Küche ist einfach gehalten jedoch in ihrer Art wunderbar einfallsreich. Da das Hauptgericht individuell zusammengestellt werden kann, war es sehr lecker. Trotz viel Fleischauswahl gibt es eine Vegivariante, welche alle paar Wochen wechselt. Gemüse und Salate werden saisonal abgestimmt. Freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch!!!
a wonder why this restaurant is so hidden! the service was perfect and the food was delicious. proper BBQ food with some Swiss twist. the best meal I had in 6 years in Europe. they nailed the pulled pork beans and sweet potatoes. I can't wait to go back. chill outdoor environment and cozy and comfortable inside. great architecture and very clean.
Modern and charming refurbished old historical chapel. Just a special smart place to be with a bar in the midle inside. Attentively unsophisticated stuff, delicious meals. Also a perfect location for small concerts or a party up to 60 people inside or/and outside.
