The cafeteria style restaurant atop the Nufenenpass is a place to spend time and enjoy the awe-inspiring vista from the mountaintop. Indoor and outdoor seating, though the terrace was closed during my July visit. As for the food, it is overpriced but, then again, they schlepped the food up to the mountaintop so there is good reason for some of the pricing. I had the pork cutlet which had substantial bone in it. After removing bone and solid fat, there was not much left. Good fries. Wide selection of food options (but not vast). If not for the view I would knock this down to a "2", but you will remember the view far after the details of the meal are gone.

On the way to Jungfrau region we decided to drive the pass rather than take the tunnel/train option. In sept it was empty we practically had the road to ourself. The stop at the top was excellent to take a break and soak up the scenery, grab a drink and something to eat. With the lakes and snow capped mountains it really is postcard material.

Today for lunch on the way back from Ticino. The restaurant has a basic menu (soup, chips, sausages etc.), but is clean, functional and really everything you need for a street parking place. The views are spectacular and it is a great place to sit, recover (if you need), from the ride up and ready for your current trip.
The restaurant at the top of the NufenenPass is a great place to stop and drink in the views. Other than the view there 's nothing special about the restaurant, with it 's average machine coffee and pre-packed snacks, the café isn 't overly inspiring, but with that view, it doesn 't matter too much!

What a great ride and a lot to walk Possiblities with fabulous polenta for lunch. We will stop at the restaurant again and can also recommend it for families. Spectacular view, friendly service, very clean and good food at decent prices. Réservez une table maintenant
