Restaurant Kugelofen

I had a business dinner and expected to pamper my guests from Asia. The restaurant gets for this evening only two stars due to poor service and below average quality food. My lamb steak tasted stronger than usual (like mutton); when you are expecting to...a young and fresh lamb steak for €24,50!. The service turned unfriendly when I reminded them that I ordered a Grimm the forth time and waiting more then 30 mins. The last thing I expect from the waiter is a reaction sorry, I cannot be everywhere at the sane time Honestly, a simple sorry, I forgot would have been fine. I am a regular guest in this area and will think twice before entertaining my guests here again.

I was in Weinheim, Germany for business and dine here for two evenings. It was 26 C and sunny so I sat out on the marketplatz on both evening. It was a romantic place and due to the popularity, I shared the table with locals....The place is packed which gives a quick indication of it's popularity. It was just wonderful. The food is reasonably priced. Coming from Australia, I thought it was better priced. I had lovely mushroom entrees and nice pastas. By the look at what my friendly local companion ordered, it looks like anything we ordered were very decent indeed. This place is good. I wish I could eat more.

Popular restaurant, located at historic market place, Italian style cooking but far too heavy, plenty of pasta but overcooked and mushy (veggies, too), poor wine list except for a few, friendly service,

Nice eating, good eating. atmosphere was also beautiful, waiter was friendly. eating was good, pretty nice, but if you want to eat a lot and quickly, this is definitely not for them.

everything I tried on the menu was delicious.top brands to the kitchen staff. Service staff are all very friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxing.
