Restaurant la Folie

we stayed in the domaine de la tortinière, which is a beautiful hotel that is very close to the Folie. In the future we want to spend 4 or 5 days in the loire and stay back in the domaine, and we would love to have some nights in the folie (the restaurant of our hotel is delicious, but too elegant to have dinner there 4 or 5 nights). the only problem is that the folie only opens for dinner from Thursday to Saturday. the food looks delicious (from the photos of reviews in English that we saw) and it would be very good for them to open more days.

Nous avons mangé ici pour le déjeuner. C'est un endroit particulièrement apprécié par les Français qui habitent et travaillent dans cette ville. Nous étions en route et nous avons décidé de nous arrêter. Les gens sont exceptionnellement aimables et même si nous ne parlions pas français, ils ont rendu notre repas facile. C'est un buffet pour le déjeuner où chaque personne reçoit des portions différentes en fonction de ce qu'elle commande.

good reception in this restaurant, a clientele of passage (prp, road ..) and inhabitants (workers, local employees). a dish of the day for less than 10€, a varied map around 15€, various formulas, attentive service. cold, well-matched buffet, for fun desserts the note on serving only once.

Les entrées et les desserts, ainsi que les cafés, sont en libre service. Les plats sont servis à table. Le goût est présent, l'accueil sympathique, mais le côté cantine est le point noir de ce restaurant fraîchement repris et refait.

beautiful very clear room. the breaks are planned, with coffee machine in free Viennese service. the simple but good quality meal. I particularly enjoyed the desert.
