Restaurant la Rotonde

We went for their Sunday brunch en famille, including two young kids. A great selection of food for all tastes, starting with very fresh oysters and other seafood and ending with warm bread and butter pudding with anything and everything imaginable in between prepared to a very high standard (it's difficult to pair the notion of michelin stars with that of a buffet brunch, but la Rotonde does it pretty well!) The restaurant is located in a small park that's great for the kids (and adults) to burn some of the calories consumed. Wine selection impeccable and value for money spot on.

I've been there several times for brunch and it's just a lovely place. The decoration is not that fantastic but the rooms are designed so people have some privacy. The brunch is just stunning. Don't waste your appetite on warm stuff (they're good though) cause you want to try all the starters. Desserts are also very nice. Service is very professional and if you need (that's rhetorical, YOU need) a little help processing all the food, you can walk in the park along the river. A must go.

We enjoyed very much the lunch on 25th December that was perfect from start to end : the food was exquisite, service great, the restaurant is spacious and comfortable.The Chef is quite young and clearly very gifted, while humble and nice to his clients.Clearly perfect.

Lots of lovely restaurants in Lyon, and this one in the Casino building in Charbonnieres les Bains competes well. The room is classical style but newly built, with added "bling", so a bit weird. The service is good and the lobster menu that we had very tasty.

2 star Michelin. Wonderful, creative food.... Strong classic roots but with imaginative and creative flair... Lovely dining room with some unusual decorative touches! Elegant with nice ambience. Outstanding service.
