When looking at the menu you could easily think this is all rather standard. But unlike other places who exaggerate in their optic langues, here the actual dishes exceed all expectations - both esthetically and taste wise. It all starts by being seated on the pleasant terrace with a beautiful Luberon countryside view, unlike the hustle and bustle of Lourmarin. Then the attentive, personal and professional service of both the Italian waiter as well as the owning couple. We tried quite a few of the dishes and all were beautifully prepared with fresh and responsible ingredients and very tasty. Small change requests were catered for with a smile and also the wine list was good and very reasonably priced. One of the better restaurants in the region, with very good value for money. Highly recommended, worth a detour!!
Petit parking commun à l'hôtel. Accueil chaleureux. Belle salle, devant la piscine. Les tables sont bien espacées les unes des autres.Cuisine plutôt élaborée, sans être du gastronomique. C'est bon et proprement fait. La carte des vins privilégie les vins locaux. Le service est attentionné sans être inutilement obséquieux. Rapport qualité prix correct si l'on tient compte du cadre et du fait que l'on est dans un beau village du Luberon.
in my rather extensive experience, a bad meal in the Luberon is unusual. Still, this nice logis in the woderful village of Vaugines found a way to stand out. Great foie gras and lamb, in attractive presentations, wonderful choice of desserts and attentive and friendly service by the Italian waiter. Highly recommended
Catastrophique ! Allez un soir un filet de poisson en direct - le serveur parle de dorade - et bien après 1h30 d'attente c'est un morceau de thon pas cuit avec deux malheureux légumes - le dessert j'ai pas revu le serveur ... allez mangé ailleurs c'est cher et franchement ça ne le vaut pas !
