We had had a disappointing morning trying to find a place to park on the Swiss side of the lake and came across Saint Gingolph, the first stop on the French side. It was now late for lunch. the town is small with just a few restaurants. We wandered up and down the main street and decided we might go into the Chinese one. However, they were full and although there was a table, we were told we would have to wait at least half an hour for our meal. We crossed the road to this Thai one. We were greeted warmly even though it was late for lunch although their sign said until 3.p.m. It was quite full and two lots of people arriving after us were told it was too late.Our meal was served promptly and...
