Ordered a late dinner here. Waitstaff service was unfriendly. Ordered steak medium and was overcooked (not even the slightest hint of pink) and salty. Waited approx. 40 min., in a restaurant where there were only 4 other tables, for a steak that should have taken 8-9 minutes to cook. Cost of the meal was 24 and came with whipped potatoes that were pasty and barely warm. Terrible meal.
While on the road from New Brunswick to Ottawa, our mobile device said this was a popular place for breakfast. We left the Trans-Canada Highway, wound our way down through town, and found the restaurant was in a hotel. It was well worth the diversion as the service was excellent and the food was ample and very good.
Upon arrival we were treated like second class citizens. That was exacerbated by the excessive time it took to take our order. Followed by failing to bring the correct drink order. The straw that broke the camels back was being ignored we very time we asked for our waitress. I will never be back.

Had breakfast after staying at the attached hotel. Very nice selection. Plates where of a good size. Very good food. Very busy place on a Sunday morning considering there was at least 1 youth hockey team at the hotel the night before.
Serveurs très sympathiques!!Restaurant avec une belle lumière naturelle!Buffet très varié (chaud et froid) qualité des aliments: bon.Super de pouvoir manger à l'hôtel sans avoir à sortir!!
Bon café, bon service, table honnête. Plein à craqué dès l'aube. Si vous loger à l'hôtel Universel, vous y accèderai par l'intérieur.
Les prix sont adaptés aussi pour les petites familles (gratuit pour les enfants de 5 ans) et 1/2 prix pour les moins de 12 ans. Réservez une table maintenant
Le restaurant sert de salle de petit-déjeuner, les plats sont identiques à ceux servis au Rialto. L'ambiance est bruyante.
