I would have liked to give the la vita more points for eating, but the service and also various other things just didn't agree. the waiter seemed to be quite irrelevant that we had to wait for a three-quarter hour for eating. then eating was almost cold and for this price we would have expected more. it made us impression as if you were happy to go back.I won't come by for lunch anymore, because it didn't even have much guests. That could have explained the long waiting period. I have to mention something positive. the little dessert was really delicious.
My pasta was undercooked and the restaurant was not Italian. The vast majority was meat or fish with few pasta options that always included pasta or fish. For a plate of veggie pasta and half a liter of water it was 40. Virtually no vegi options, but you could ask not to have certain ingredients. However, the waiter was very nice and even offered me a glass of ice cream for free at the end. For meat eaters, the restaurant is probably recommended anyway. Wir haben das Rest. La Vita für eine Familienfeier mit 16 Personen ausgewählt, da wir schon einige male hier gegessen haben und noch nie enttäuscht wurden.Auch dieser Abend hat alle unsere Erwartungen mehr als erfüllt. Das Essen und der Service war absolut top und alle unsere Gäste waren absolut begeistert von diesem Abend. Eines der Highlights war natürlich das Dessert. Eine Pistazien-Creme Brulee, welche noch keiner der Gäste je gegessen hatte, war der absolute Renner. Das La Vita ist und bleibt für uns das beste Rest. in Allschwil.
the food was excellent and prepared with love.The card is oriented on preseed, meat, fish and fine desserts without huge selection. menus are professionally compiled, the ingredients are fresh and seasonal. the service attentive without being intrusive. prices correspond to the offered performance.Feine gourmet kitchen, highly recommended. whether for a tête à tête with candlelight or a wedding party, you feel comfortable.
