Four of us travelling around the area wanted somewhere nice but inexpensive to eat for lunch. There are several restaurants in the area but we decided that this one suited us best. My daughter is vegetarian and, at first, we couldn't see any vegetarian dishes on the menu. However, we enquired when we went in and the owner happily obliged with a dish in discussion with my daughter about what she likes to eat. I had lamb shank, which was delicious and the meat was very tender. My son had cod loin and my wife had chicken. The meals were presented well, they were tasty and well prepared. Here we go again. Have a look at the photo accompanying this restaurant's page on TA and ask yourself, "Is this really the Restaurant le Chateaubriand, or is its name something else?" It is a waste of time, I have found out, to ask TA to do the decent and courteous thing and spell things, in languages other than English, correctly.So now to the Restaurant Chateaubriant, which is where we had lunch. Lovely Brasserie, popular with locals, lots of choice on the menus and la carte, good value (E14 for the basic lunch menu the day we visited, which was three dishes), great service from Mme la Proprietaire who attended to a full service on her own but kept no-one waiting. We would go back.
Nous sommes passés après une séance d'équitation et avons trouvé les conseils excellents bien que l'anglais ne soit pas parlé (pas de leur faute !). Nous avons dîné souvent dans la région et ce repas était l'un de nos meilleurs, en plus d'être d'un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Nous avons pris le menu du jour à 14 euros chacun, des choix délicieux qui ont ravi tout le monde, de notre enfant de 9 ans aux adultes.
Hard to find a good ala carte menu, no dessert please and keep the cost down. Does anybody serve dinner in less than 2 hours in France? This is a good choice, the hidden terrace dining room is the best option, don't be confused by the up stairs bar and bistro, opt for the terrace, opt for the grilled duck breast.

Good, solid food, well prepared at a decent price and above-average service. We ate here perhaps a half-dozen times in six weeks, and the food never disappointed. Some of the soups were as good as we've had anywhere.
A tremendous lunch that was very moderately priced. Every item on my plate was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the food and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive to our baby.
Not a good start. We were told that we couldn't sit on the balcony. They were serving food there and it was not full. Closed - to us! Off hand service. Food ok, not special. Reasonably priced.
Festival original et très intéressant. Des spectacles très différents mais charmants. Et le tout dans une très jolie ville que nous avons eu l'occasion de découvrir.

Le festival est très amusant, j'adore ce festival, j'aime beaucoup et c'est mon coup de cœur, c'est l'amour du mari de la compagnie de jongh.
Amazing meal with high quality ingredients and a lot of concentration put on service and presentation. Divine dinner, highly recommend.
