Restaurant le Festival de la Moule

This restaurant normally has a large queue outside during the summer months, so after 5yrs of living close by we finally tried it out! Firstly the service was quick & polite! Would class it more as a tourist restaurant than French high cuisine. The prices & 'eat as much as you like' make it agood choice for those with healthy appetites -moules €15,pasta 12.50€ & paella 19.90 with quarter a liter of sangria (our option)! Also giant pizzas!It's positioned on the coastal road in VL,parking is easy in the Geant casino supermarket opposite & you can walk along the 'bord du Mer' before or after! All things considered we would return with family &/or friends!

If you like mussels this is a good place to go! The friendly staff positively encourage you to order multiple plates of mussels in a wide variety of sauces. We tried garlic, the classic moules marinere, mustard and provencal sauces. While the service was a bit on the slow side this gave us a chance to catch our breath and eat more mussels!The situation is lovely too, on a square behind Promenade des Anglais, opposite a very pretty church in a pretty square which had a market on the Sunday we visited.

This is a great place for mussels all-you-can-eat. They are prepared in a variety of styles, each tastier than the last. They also do lots of other dishes like pizza, entrecote etc. Service is friendly and very good. We were here 11 years ago for the first time and it is still excellent.

All the mousses you can eat at 14,99€. The same price as any pizza in Nice. Good stuff, at least in my own taste. In fact, was the only french (belgium?) meal I discovered in the Riviera. French cuisine is dead, I presume.

The worst service EVERWe arrived at 6pm and there was no one there except one couple.
