Restaurant l'Epicurien

This is definitely a must when in Vaison-la-Romaine. It is a short drive from town and it is so much fun both in the decor and with the owner and staff. We had a blast playing the piano in the lounge area decorated with crazy...chairs prior to dinner and then joking with our waiter and the owner over dinner. If your French is challenged, fear not because they speak English here. All our dishes were delicious...chicken with fingerling potatoes, fish with white asparagus, cold cauliflower soup, and beet carpaccio were some of what we sampled. The meal ended with a huge martini glass filled with sweet strawberries. A treat par excellence!

Quel endroit amusant. Juste à l'extérieur de Vaison-la-Romaine, nous avons lu les critiques et avons sauté le pas. C'était l'un de nos moments forts de rester à l'opposé. Le service était amusant. Difficile à décrire, mais le genre d'endroit où le personnel semble apprécier. La nourriture était excellente et les prix étaient raisonnables dans l'ensemble.

Bon menu avec une forte présence de viande, mais peu de plats à base de poisson. Les assiettes de charcuterie à partager sont superbes. La côte de bœuf et les canards étaient bien cuits. La salade était un peu passée. Le service était un peu étrange, le serveur n'était pas très bon. Globalement bon, mais pas parmi les meilleurs de la région.

very friendly service. great food. great wein. when they love the wee as we love .. they go to the domain and buy them a few bottles!

Service serviable très sympathique. Grand choix de boissons alimentaires. Beau cadre détendu. J'y retournerais certainement.
