The Brasserie des Cerniers is a magnificent place, tastefully renovated. On the other hand, the kitchen is by far not up to the standard. We were a group of 7 at lunchtime, and we were looking forward to eating simple but tasty dishes after a walk. The forest crusts are a disaster, thick and dry bread, sprinkled with cheese and a few mushrooms, dry, no sauce. A few grams of cheese and mushrooms, and a salad served directly on the serving platter, that's very little for a lot of money. The fondue was served, with pieces of cheese not melted: we had to return it to the kitchen to finish its preparation, without any apology. Too bad the cook is so incompetent We won't be asked to eat there agai...
Lovely location with great views not be missed. Food was prepared with a lot of attention to aesthetics, but sadly the taste of different plates was a bit hit and miss. Local wine we tried to accompany dinner was very acidic vinegary. Perhaps it was just bad luck although the bottle had just been opened. Price to quality ratio overall wasn’t really worth it but the view is indeed stunning.
