It is not every day you can eat in a Medieval vault. It will cost you for the pleasure, to be sure, but as with any costly thing, you can figure out the economics based on what you actually get for the money. Astoundingly attentive service, a vast bar, quite esoteric and high quality ingredients and a superlative wine collection combine to make this place costly. The historical ambience probably adds to the bill, but let us get to the food/service. this Mediterranean restaurant was a short distance from our hotel in a beautiful old brick building. because it had amazing reviews on travel advisors, we thought we were trying it out, and we were not disappointed! the ambiente was wonderful, the service was exceptional and the foods were delicious! portions were perfect and again l, the food was so tasteful. from the moment we went to the point where we paid our bill, the employees were welcome and attentive. highly recommended.

Very pleasant experience due to the great location. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the food very much, we shared an antipasti plate for 2 persons, we recommend this starter, also the steak was very delicious. If you are visiting cologne, we highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

We ate here on our first night in Cologne and it was superb. The food was delicious and our waitperson called Yassime was excellent. So attentive and ensured we had a good experience. we had an evening meal here in the woods. the personal was amazing, made sure everyone had a private sphere and was comfortable. the food was beautiful. fresh and delicious. we had some requirements they met. can not recommend very enough

We went there yesterday and love it! Food and service were great and the inside is beautiful. They have a good wine selection as well and speak pretty good English : . It was really quiet which was perfect for a date night.

a great menu for a fish lover in a city full of meat, there was meat on the menu and it sounded great. starter of gambas was great, fish plate for main and chocolate soufflé with orange vanilleeis ended the meal well

we went to lunch. excellent lunch service, appetizer soup was extremely tasty, nothing wrong in snizel and very good ice with strawberries recommended.
