Obviously I wanted to try their crepe since it is so highly rated and my partner an ice-cream to accompany me.As we entered the premise, our smile was not greeted with a reciprocal smile but the body language appear to be telling us "We are not interested with your business".We asked if we can sit down. It was just a nod from the male staff. The other 2 female staff were looking stressed out. One was busy making crepe which prompted us to ask, if the crepe and the ice cream can be served in 15mins. The male staff responded, first with a Yes but then a very sarcastic tone, "We are machines if we can serve you within 15minutes." Then, we asked, "Even for scooping ice-cream in a cone."? He showed annoyance without a respond and we know, we should just get out of this place. In my view, even if one is busy, it does not hurt to respond in a friendly tone. That's where the test of customer excellence kicks in, can one sustain service level irrespective of peak/low periods? The slogan of this restaurant is "Essen mit Kultur." Well, it definitely living up to POOR Service culture and setting a bad impression of Feldkirch.
