Restaurant Ogusta - Réservation de table

After experiencing a disappointing, mediocre breakfast the previous day at our hotel, Auberge de la Rive, we decided to drive into town to try a local spot for breakfast. We noticed a long line outside the door of "O'Gusta" and lined up with the locals....The staff were very kind and spoke to us in English. They took our name and we stood in the queue for about minutes. This restaurant is very popular with the locals: every table was full. Most of the people ordered crepes, which looked wonderful; however, we chose the omelettes. We were hoping to enjoy eggs that weren't from a carton or sitting in a warming tray. I was told by local friends that it was awesome so my expectations were too high probably. Nevertheless, my RED wine was kept in the fridge! And it seems to be customary...I chose a goat cheese burger; the meat was dry but there was a...lot of sauce, cheese, onions and tomatoes....so much that one bite and the sauce and all the rest spewed all over Both my hands...I used a fork and knife to cut my hamburger...I don't mind messy but too much Is too much. The fries were really good and the plate presentation good. The server was affable and did her job right. Perhaps I'll give it another try for breakfast, it seems to have great comments

We stopped here for an early dinner after finding our first choice closed, and really enjoyed the meal. The next morning, I noticed a review where breakfast at Auberge de la Rive (hotel) was named disappointing, but Restaurant O’Gusta was described glowingly. So we headed...back to Restaurant O’Gusta for breakfast. Highly recommended is the right phrase to describe breakfast here. We both enjoyed omelets, which were excellent. The service is fast and attentive (coffee cup was never empty, thank you and the food was great quality, temperature, taste. Very high value and two enjoyable meals during our short stay in Sorel

A nice and clean place with a nice view on Sorel-Tracy downtown , just in front of two others great restaurant , Cactus cafe and Fougasse and you can enjoy the nature at Carre Royal park verry close or the old market Réservez une table maintenant

Amazing how a small restaurant can possible have a very well done menu , simple but at the same time delicious non complicated dishes with very good portions and a well balance prices! Highly recommend it

A nice place to breakfast in Sorel-Tracy. Service is very good and fast. Plates are good. Improve a little bit the coffee taste will be a good thing. Certainly a near stars restaurant for me

Nice restaurant. Freindly service. Food is good and well perpared. The fries come in little wire baskets, nice touch. Salds are fresh. Good place to stop for a fast wholesome lunch
