Restaurant pizzeria le SALERNO

I've been eating at Salerno regularly because they are one of the few restaurants in the area open on Sunday evening. This is how I discovered it.The pizzas are very good, about the rest I can't say much, but I suspect that there is too much to choose from for it to be all made with fresh ingredients.The service is always quick and the waiters/waitresses are very kind. The wine choice is not great, so stick to water, beer or soft drinks.The decoration is quite cheesy and so is the music. I would not recommend it for a special occasion, but for a Friday or Sunday evening when you don't feel like cooking, it is just great.

You will get what you can expect. The restaurant looks really old-fashioned and a mix of everything. Just to put it this way: ignore the ambiance and you will be happy.Nevertheless, I can neither recommend nor disadvise to go there. It is more or less a standard Pizzeria, nothing else. However, the staff is friendly and they speak English! Even the Menu Card is in German (English I cannot recall).The Pizza was good, nothing to complain.

We went there for Lunchtime. The pizzeria is traditional, nothing special. You get what you can expect for such a restaurant and the prices benefit ratio is okay. The staff is friendly and keen. The ambiance - well, it is a mixture of all styles.

Busy, family run restaurant, always given a warm welcome. Great for families, children welcome. Those with a smaller appetite can ask for a demi portion. Especially good for pizzas and pasta.

Great pizza and nice family run restaurant. Good atmosphere and wonderful selection on the menu. We ordered Pizza to take away which was done deliciously and timely.
