Da einige Gaststätten aus verschiedenen Gründen nicht geöffnet hatten, sind wir zum Restaurant Rennsteig gegangen. Schön gelegen am Wald. Optisch gut anzusehen und sauber. Zuerst mussten wir recht lange warten, bis jemand uns bediente. Das Lokal war nicht übermäßig besucht, allerdings schien es so, daß alles nur von einer Person gehandelt wurde. Wir waren zwei Personen. Leider kam das Essen nicht gleichzeitig. Erst als meine Frau schon fertig war, kam auch meine Bestellung, sowas ist unprofessionell. Geschmeckt hat es einigermaßen. Für mich, hatten beide Gerichte Tütengeschmack. Kann mich natürlich Täuschen, bin aber recht sicher das es so war. Zumindest die Thüringer Klöße schienen selbstge...
Very recommended. We landed here by chance during hiking and really ate good cakes. That's why we came back to try the Thuringian dishes from the map. Was a good plan, it was very tasty and authentic. The lumps made themselves, the meat soft, sauce excellent. And the whole thing at a reasonable price. The host was very friendly and attentive. Compared to other restaurants, the Rennsteig in Fischbach was far ahead. If we're back in the corner, we'll come to dinner.
we were on the afternoon with a guided hiking group of the Inselsberg-Klinik before location. we were welcomed, also with several four-legged friends, very friendly and helpful. there were various types of coffee and delicious cakes. absolutely recommended! we are very happy to see them again. service: dine in meal type: brunch food: 5 service: 5 atmosphere: 5.
Wenn man auf authentische thüringische Küche steht ist man hier goldrichtig. Das Essen ist super lecker. Die Wirtin ist sehr sehr nett. Wir kommen gerne wieder vorbei. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We were very surprised that we were told with a certain indifference that we could only pay cash and not with card. So we couldn't eat anything.
