Restaurant Rössli - Réservation de table

A friend and I wanted to eat here. Unfortunately, we were told by the staff that they had no room for us, even though the restaurant was completely empty except for 2 tables outside and 1 table inside. The tables were not marked as reserved and were not set either. The statement was so incomprehensible to us that at first we thought the gentleman had meant it sarcastically. After eating somewhere else, we stopped by the Rössli again on the way home and there was only one table left. We probably didn't fit in with our normal everyday clothes at this upscale restaurant. Too bad!

Am Weihnachtsmarkt kurzfristiger Entscheid gefällt und den letzten Zweiertisch erhalten. Kleines aber sehr schönes Lokal und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und ein eingespieltes Team es wird ruhig gearbeitet ohne Stress und Hektik Essen sehr gut und interessant Karte wird mehrmals im Jahr gewechselt und saisonal gekocht. Wir werden garantiert wiederkommen und können dieses Lokal sehr empfehlen. Im Städtchen hat es auch andere schöne historische Häuser die sehenswert sind

The food (ravioli) tasted good. But the portion could be bigger. 11 pieces as a main course for 38 not justified for my taste. A pint of beer is only 2.5 dl. At this price you would expect the usual 3 dl. The service didn't show up for a long time (dining room side full) but was always friendly. Conclusion: There are good alternatives in the old town. Tavolata on August 23, 2024 with Bar'oc Bülach Ladies and gentlemen, that was a real revelation. Excellent food accompanied by excellent wine, not forgetting the attentive and friendly staff! Ich fand das Essen so toll. Was mir nicht gefallen hat war dass der so gut schmeckende Salat in einer runden Schlüssel serviert wird und ich nicht so gut die langen Gemüse Sorten schneiden konnte. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
