We had a table overlooking the harbour from La Chaume across to Les Sables watching the boats coming and going. Amuse bouche to start, a fish pate. Lovely food, especially a wonderfully rich fish soup, packed with goodies and so very tasty. Highly recommended. Then...a fish dish, dorade, which was moist and delicate. Beautifully cooked. Last a home cooked pineapple and apple crumble which was just fabulous . The waiter was most attentive, friendly and efficient even when one of my friends knocked his fish soup all over the table, his trousers and his coat. Nous avons mangé au restaurant mardi soir où un menu fixe fonctionne. C'est d'un très bon rapport qualité-prix et comprend des options de poisson et de viande. Le plat de fruits de mer en entrée était incroyable, avec un bon choix et très exigeant. Les plats suivants ne nous ont pas déçus... tous savoureux et bien présentés. Le service était impeccable et il n'y avait aucune précipitation. Avec la vue sur le port, c'était un choix idéal pour nous. La seule chose que j'aurais à critiquer serait le manque d'options végétariennes. Nous mangeons du poisson, mais si notre fille avait été avec nous, nous aurions dû aller ailleurs. Excellent and attentive service and a meal we enjoyed with a view of the port. The food was well prepared and presented nothing pretentious, only solid French food. The portion sizes were fine, although a little more Veg/Salad-Garnish had not expired. Not... shopping, but quite expensive for the location and ingredients that are said to be produced locally.
We stayed in Les Sables for six days and ate here for two evenings. The staff were very efficient and friendly. The food was great. Do try the terrine saumon et merlu, it 's fabulous. The steaks were very tender, knife through butter! My husband likes...his bien cult and it was! Many thanks.

The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive throughout. The restaurant offered a good variety of dishes. The food was well presented and of an excellent standard. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Our third time here. Beautifully cooked presented food. Very friendly helpful staff. If coming from Les Sables to La Chaume take the water taxi. One word of warning, the stairs to the toilet are pretty lethal.
Excellent restaurant, cuisine très fine avec d'excellents produits, vous voyez c'est fait par un maître cuisinier, bravo. Essayez la choucroute de la mer, avec un bon vin blanc local, Eclypse, un régale.
La nourriture était délicieuse, le restaurant a changé de propriétaire et je pense qu'il s'est amélioré. Le service est très amical et efficace. Vaut le détour.

Ma deuxième chance de manger dans ce restaurant. Les saveurs sont bonnes et les prix sont bons. Les aliments et légumes sont toujours frais. Je recommande.
