if they live in the city or in another city around Bern, the journey to Eastermundigen is more than word it. the beautiful couple is very welcoming and due to few tables it is a very cozy atmosphere. they take time to talk. to all their guests and make them feel like home in their restaurant. eating was more than perfect, local products and fresh ingredients, nothing to complain. they know all their suppliers personally and can also give them more information about the weinberge etc. I would go back absolutely, they can also rent it for special occasions that must also be amazing. consider that they need to reserve several weeks/months in advance because they do not have so many tables.
Einzigartiges, kleines Restaurant, das vom Besitzerpaar mit Liebe und Leidenschaft geführt wird. Das Essen ist herrlich, die Ambiance ist sehr stimmig. Kein Wunder, ist das Restaurant jeweils auf lange Zeit im Voraus ausgebucht. Umso erfreulicher, dass die beiden nach wie vor ohne die geringste Qualitätseinbusse weiter arbeiten. Wir sind soweit, dass wir jeweils zum Schluss des Restaurantsbesuchs gleich den nächsten Termin reservieren!Übrigens: auch glutenfreies Essen ist hier kein Problem.
ostermundigen is not a goal (confide in me, I live there), but d’schmitte is a goal for itself! I rarely felt so personal about the couple that runs this six-table restaurant. my wife and I visit every season to experience the seasonal menu. The...foods are world-class, the Swiss wine list contains some rare gems and we always leave with smiles and anticipation of our next visit!
Das Lokal einzigarti,drinnen wie drausen.Das Essen sehr sehr fein.Kleine Karte, doch sehr gut,auch für vegis geeignet.Bediennug durch Herr und Frau Schorri sehr gut und freundlich.Die Zutaten aus der Region und die Kräuter aus dem Garten.Preis Leisting stimmt!Wird kommen immer gerne. Die ehemalige Schmitte Sanft zum Speziellen Speiselokal umrenoviert. Man sitzt im gemütlichem Schmitteambiente. Saisonale regionale Spezialitäten werden mit klassischer Küche kombiniert. Immer frisch immer top. Getränke nur vom Besten. Es geht eben auch ohne Coca-Cola und Co! Bravo
Die Schmitte ist ein Genussort fernab von Espuma, Sphären und Firlefanz. Ehrliche regionale Küche mit gutbürgerlichem Angebot zu fairem Preis. Toller, aufmerksamer Service! Merci dem Team für einen wunderschönen Abend, wir sind rundum zufrieden nach Hause gegangen.
