we were looking forward to the Persian cuisine! we visited the restaurant in anticipation. it was not full yet and places were available. the local is beautifully decorated. unfortunately we were received very unfriendly. the two waitresses also made the impression during the order that they had no joy at all. that went all night. an example: we have ordered for 4 people per start and main dish. the waitress came with 2 small tellers and some salate (green salat feta) and put this kombi in the middle of the table. no reaction came to demand for who this was now. that's just an example. thank you for not eating like the service. it was delicious. lovingly prepared and really delicious. now, b...
Soraya herself is always around and gets fully involved in front of house and makes guests welcome on arrival. Independently run restaurants like this always seem to me to demonstrate a care over food and service that chains just don't or can't. The food is...basically Iranian in origin but not basic. Well spiced meats, koftas and grills are partnered with rice and well flavoured side-salads. All well presented and the service is pleasantly attentive rather than overwhelming. For two you'll spend around with drinks and you're unlikely to leave hungry; most diners being of course German! Well worth booking ahead particularly if you're aiming for a Friday/Saturday dinner.

The best lamb we have ever tried, so succulent and tender This really is one of the best restaurants I’ve dined in,...and such interesting unusual flavours and combinations.
I went there by advice of my colleagues and I was surprised by the special athmosphere. It's an ancient structure very well kept. I have been in Iran for times but I never ate so good. All dishes were delicious! Staff very nice...

The staff is friendly and the food is good. It's not far from the heart of town but away from a lot of the noise. The train station is nearby as well as good parking when visiting the city.

The restaurant is located in one of the oldest buildings in the city. They offer place for bigger groups.Great choice of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes.
Lots of nice food with delicious flavours. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Also some very good deals for the lunch menu.
