Restaurant Sunset

The view from the restaurant was great, but can't stand for bad food. The small freebie starter from the kitchen basically had no taste. The salty soup became good after a day of hiking, but was without nuances. One of our rib eyes was a 5 mm well made leather sole (the other was just a little better). The waiter offered to get us a new one, but we had waited for a long time and were hungry, so we didn't want to wait for it. The waiter got us some slices of calf, which was a nice touch of him. He also offered us coffee or dessert on the house, but we didn't feel either. So, although he was a capable waiter, he was drained from the kitchen, and ultimately we paid too much money for bad food. Make sure to choose something that is difficult to ruin for a kitchen. I should add that the next morning breakfast was really good.

After the great wellness area you can enjoy the dishes of thus restaurant and slip in the rooms with great view that it offer. You can taste several entry dishes with floral decorations at good value for money. The atmosphere is romantic and supported by the incredible scenery.

We booked halfboard in the Hotel. We loved the buffet with the starters, main dishes with fish or meat were good but the dessert could have been better. The service was very nice in the beginning but kind of rude at the end.

Good restaurant inside the Rigi Kaltbad hotel : a varied choice of meals (a la carte and set menu,) quality food made by a creative cook and a flawless service. Enjoy !

stayed at the Hotel and enjoyed dinner one night. good service and good food quality. We had a great time.
