Restaurant Toshiya

The restaurant has been excellent over my expectations...however I knew was going to be good because my past experiences but this time was the best ever! My Italian friend was so enthusiastic too! Service, authentic Japanese hospitality and highly professional staff, who knows the food and all served with flair and understated elegance. Everybody smiles to you happy to look after you! A lot posh restaurants should learn from Toshiya! The chef is a real artist , his food is a celebration of flavours and perfectly presented I am very fond of Japanese culture and I never been disappointed Thank you very much for a such beautiful meal and wonderful hospitality!

Some of the dishes were excellent sashimi tacos, beef tatami and kingfish carpaccio and some were not that appealing (volcano sushi looked like something the cat threw up). Very noisy but the service was excellent and we enjoyed the evening. Will go back again but choose more selectively next time!

Absolutely fabulous food at Toshiya and very friendly service. All the positive reviews are well deserved. We had the tasting menu and could not fault a single dish. The tacos were incredible and generous in filling. Will be back sooner rather than later. Suberashi!

We’ve been coming here for years. Don’t expect fine dining service and seating, but the team are always helpful and friendly, the atmosphere is always welcoming and the food is incredible, fresh and generous portion sizes. Réservez une table maintenant

Great food and service. Tacos “a must” starter. Atmosphere untidy. Tables had not been cleared the entire time we were dining from former diners. BYO a bonus at very little cost. We may return.

Food service and atmosphere are fantastic! Always consistently amazing food and so fast no matter how busy they are. Great for a pre movie meal. You have to try the lobster volcano!!!!

We dine here a few times a year after seeing a movie at the Orpheum. The food is always fabulous. Their sushi is sublime. They even now properly cater for gluten free.

This restaurant is great. The food is good, there is both traditional and fusion dishes. It's tasty and the service is great. The owner is a really great guy. Réservez une table maintenant
