Restaurant Tulsi

The food was average and somewhat flavorless. We ordered the Tulsi version of lamb biryani and the mixed vegetable curry. Perhaps this is the best Indian place for Bern. Otherwise I am not sure how it got stars. The menu is solely in German...with no English translation (being in a German speaking country I have no issue with this, but wanted other readers to be prepared). Also the wait staff could not really be bothered with us because we spoke English. One or two of them spoke English, but they gave off the impression that we were annoying them because we spoke English.

the restaurant tulsi is together with the restaurant okra the nonplusultra regarding Indian cuisine. there are masala daal, meeti aam aloo beans, chennai chicken curry, kerala fish curry, fitness plate, potpourri; lunch menus between 14 - 17 francs and also an salat with fruit dressing. this all served in a lasy garden in a relaxed atmosphere! more than a secret tip!

has never been disappointed and have already tried a variety of foods from the tulsi card. were always very friendly. were the first time in the garden today, which is also very pleasant. once tulsi always tulsi

once again a nice evening with delicious food, with very nice and efficient operation and in pleasant ambiente. all voted. Thank you, we're coming back!

the service staff was nice and the food was good. the little extra was missing though, and they messed up my order. (food good so i wont complain)
