Restaurant Vietnamien Mai Lan

Our Vietnamese is impossible and our French is not good at all. We don have any French speaking people in Australia to practice on. But we got through with pictures. The ginger steamed cod was perfect and just the right size. The spring rolls (or were they as I have done cooking classes in South Vietnam and they are not like these) probably were not what we were used to but were ok. The noodles with veggies, chicken, prawns and pork were also very tasty. Definitely worth trying here. Thank you for being so patient.

We were happy to have a reservation for tonight because when we arrived the place was booked full.We had the fried springrolls and the cold beef which were excellent.The mains were delightfull and the portions were certanly not too small.We ate with 5 for 120 euro's so a resanable price for high flavoured food.A good choice when you are in Clere...RegardsFam van AdrighemThe Netherlands

This restaurant is not in the most attractive area of Clermont Ferrand, but worth seeking out for very good food, and excellent value. The owner and his staff were most patient with the language difficulties. So pleased we didn't just walk by.

Excellent food and very helpful catering for my vegetarian wife. Staff couldn't be more helpful and prices were extremely reasonable. Highly recommended.

Good value. No english spoken. Fairly basic food and wine list but i enjoyed my meal. Chop suey means beansprouts - not noodles. My mistake.
