Wir waren zum Mittagessen im Restaurant. Schon bei der Durchsicht der Speisekarte war es etwas schwierig etwas auszuwählen. Es ist sehr Hackfleisch lastig. Ich habe dann das Hackfleisch Steak versucht. Es war grundsätzlich in Ordnung. Die Peperoni Pilz Sauce hat aber gar nicht dazu gepasst. Meine Frau hat Älpler Makkaronen gegessen. Sehr wahrscheinlich war das mit einem Rohmilchkäse gemacht, was meiner Frau und auch mir gar nicht gemundet hat. Wir haben es dem Personal auch freundlich mitgeteilt. We stayed in this guest house after an exhausting bike tour around the nearby mountains. It is run by friendly Austrians and the menu reflects this kitchen. It is in a somewhat remote location, not far from the Voralp lake, which by the way is very worthwhile to look down. There are many outdoor seats and free parking for guests. We quenched our thirst with glasses of the elderberry choir, then had cheese soup and an order from Kaiserschmarrn (Austrian pancakes). The soup was good and the pancakes were very good. Spontan bin ich hier nach der Wanderung vom Chäserrugg auf der Terrasse eingekehrt.Freundlicher Empfang. Karte ist mit gut bürgerlichen Speisen bespickt. Die Portionen sind gross. Die Qualität ist gut. Das Preis- und Leistungsverhältnis ist stimmig. Die Bedienung war effizient und freundlich.
Sehr unfreundliche Bedienung ein Koch der ins Esses schwitzt und nach dem Besuch 2 Wochen Magen und Darmkrämpfe, sagen wohl schon alles.
Nach eine grossen Wanderung wurden wie auf der Terrasse aus der Küche verwöhnt. Was unserer Erholung nur gut tat.
