already at the entrance we were greeted by small-child screams, not children of guests, but those of the service (or owner).? quengelei and screaming the children we had to listen to each other for quite a long time before we were asked for our wishes. for vegetarian, there are only 2 dishes on the otherwise extensive menu (indispensable baked noodles and celery scavengers), flatter and fischerser have a large selection. the tellers were overcrowded, but unfortunately everything has been smelled of fat (clear, fat is flavor carrier), and that few sweets at the edge is drowned in sauce hollandaise. the local is something for people who place more value on quantity than on quality.
I was stuck in Borkum in my boat by bad weather and rather than go into town on the bus decided to try the Marina Restaurant.I don't speak much German and the staff seemed to have difficulty with German, however we managed to communicate and I had a Swarz Bier and a large flatfish, the German name didn't mean anything to me. The salad was presented as an starter which I always rather like. The fish was very well cooked, moist and just at the point of flaking, perfect.
bij baalman (zo wordt dit restaurant in scheepkringen genoemd eten we altijd goed. uitstekende bediening en de kwaliteit van de traditionele fairen is prima. vandaag speckscholle (ook wel scholle finkenwerter art). een grote schol op de huis mooi bruingebakken geen papkorst gegarneerd met spekjes. daarbij een frisse salade met een mooie niet vette dressing. mijn tafelgenote een "matjes hausfrauen art" ook al prima.Alles bij elkaar met drankjes 43€. ga er vooral heen

we were at the beginning november on borkum and were looking for lunch then restaurants with good kitchen and beautiful location. this restaurant is a bit off, but has a nice location and a good regional cuisine. to be particularly highlighted are fish dishes and the supplement salads, they were simply excellent.
the restaurant for the marina is located in the area reede directly at the marina - and thus a good piece from the large trubel.Daytimes are mainly offered snacks and drinks, good warm kitchen there in the evening from 18:00.The local itself is some rustic-maritum - a style that fits well to a harbourlokal.
have been coming for many years after borcum and are happy to eat here. the Polish personal has learned well German in the course of the years and there are also enough dishes that were not drowned in sauce. we always feel very comfortable here and like to come back.
we went to the harbour. after that we drove to the marina and went to the restaurant on a tee and coffee drink and watched the boats. service easy class, very friendly and fast.Quality easy super we come back

the food is always top, we go once in our borcum vacation always eating there and have never been disappointed.Only the Eastern European personal is something unfriendly.
