Restaurant zum Yachthafen

We tried to eat lunch here, but they said the kitchen was already closed because it wasn't busy. We were right there. The food was fine, German standard food, no complaints. The wine was terrible. A bottle of her best wine turned out to be a liter of a German basic wine. The staff was uninterested and unfriendly. The next Nith there was a heavy storm and most marina guests could not cook on board their ship and went to the restaurant to say that they had a closed party and everyone should go to the city (8 km away). In our opinion, this place does not take its guests seriously.

I was stuck in Borkum in my boat in bad weather and instead of going to the city on the bus decided to try the Marina restaurant. I don't speak much German and the staff seemed to have trouble with German, but we could communicate and I had a Swarz beer and a big flatfish, the German name meant nothing to me. The salad was presented as an appetizer I always like. The fish was very well cooked, moist and just at the place of the bottle, perfect.

Beautiful restaurant overlooking the port of Essen was fantastic and top it all staff spoke English and where more than happy to go through the menu with us. The local fish plaice was perfectly cooked The mixed plates are for dying!!

we went to the harbour. after that we drove to the marina and went to the restaurant on a tee and coffee drink and watched the boats. service easy class, very friendly and fast.Quality easy super we come back
