You will be thrown back into the 70s immediately when you enter the restaurant. a correct bite as you say in the Swiss. a lot of wood and much old nikotin sticks to the facility (before you were allowed to smoke full gas and trace it behind. large terrace at the back. lunch menus well civic from chf 17.50. no highlights but you get tired. teller was nice hot and the vegetables were well tasted what is usually not the case in the restaurants. is visited by truck drivers and workers on the afternoon. for romantic "tête à tête".

in the original and very cozy guestroom we were very attentive and friendly and greeted personally by the chef. this has become rare and the more we appreciate that because it also shows that the cook is satisfied with its performance and does not have to hide. And it is so: who knows to prepare simple dishes excellent can awaken with his cooking art feelings and not only inspire the intellect voluntarily. we go back to the theater - clean, cozy and yet elegant.

the food (wild) was well made and inexpensive, also looked good.The service was unfortunately with increasing time decreasing friendly; without apéro, inlay salad and without dessert, you can unfortunately not expect much more friendliness.The restaurant is an old landbeiz, with smoked wooden walls and old kitschigen pictures and funny dekos. I'd rather not have table cloths than lonely.
restaurant visits I no longer were due to the proximity to the operation more often there and now visited with the family on one night the linden- ordered a jakobsmuschel soup - unfortunately this had only 3 small crooked bums inside - so hardly a whole clam .-:)have the dame who served us kindly pointed out whether the denomination garnished would not have been more suitable!
especially wild and meat dishes are particularly recommended. the wet is also jäger and develops own creations in terms of the kitchen. he lacks imagination and my 130 guests were all very satisfied!

average countryside fare - had Berner Bratwurst with Rösti, a dish of roasted pork sausage served with Bern style hashed potatoes and a small salad
eating is good and the service friendly and very helpful. my disabled mother was even taken home by the hotel staff, which I found very friendly.
