After visiting Meersburg castle we still have some time to have a quick lunch before catching our boat to return to Konstanz. Upon our arrival, I noticed a row of the restaurant on the Seepromenade, and since they looked promising we decided to try one of them. Restaurant Zur Munz was mostly a random selection but somehow looked more appealing to us, than the other ones.Because I wasn’t ready for a main course, I decided to have a soup and a dessert. The dessert was an easy choice since I identified the “Schwarzwalder” as a Black forest cake. But the soup was a harder nut. My German limited to a few often-used words, but the soups on the menu card, that I could translate, didn’t fire up my appetite. On the exclusionary basis, only the “Fladlesuppe” remained. Fladlesuppe? The waiter was talking about crab legs. Perfect, I thought. I like crab soup, so I ordered it. What I’ve got, wasn’t that I expected to. It was a very tasty some kind of soup with some thin noodles like royales. Anyway, it wasn’t a bad choice. My partner had a freshwater fish, called Zander. Probably right from the Bodensee. As he told, it was delicious. We had a fast, attentive service in a very amiable restaurant. The bill with drinks was €29.30, what is considering the location wasn’t high.
