We reserved a table and requested a sea view as it was our daughters 18th. This Restaurant has been on our wish list for a few years and when we finally made it we were not disappointed. The hotel itself is lovely and charming and we received a warm welcome. We were shown to a table on the balcony overlooking the sea. The service was excellent and attentive but not obtrusive. We were checked on regularly and drinks replenished nicely. We had amazing cocktails to start with followed by beetroot goats cheese and hazelnut carpaccio, octopus, mushroom tart and fish cakes to start. Not very impressed with this restaurant. Put sitting beside a loud group who were joined by a couple who had not eaten at the table pulling up chairs like they were in a bar. Totally on top of us. Local buskers arrived in just as our main course arrived. Staff talking to them over our heads as we ate and the group loudly entertaining again totally on top of us. Staff were also using not so nice language. Food was mediocre. The set menu chicken main did not included any chicken breast meat which was disappointing. Nice setting which could do with some low level background music for atmosphere. I wouldn't recommend or return. Completely overrated
We ate here in the tapas bar on our last evening in Nerja. The food was amazing and the staff friendly and helpful. Every dish brought to us was just delicious and I enjoyed the Sangria too! We emailed ahead of time to book as we wanted to make sure of a table and Marta responded quickly to let us know a table would be waiting for us. I’m so glad we ate here as it was a perfect ending to our time in Nerja. I would highly recommend!
Lovely meal on the terrace area. Food was good, plenty choice for all. Service very good, nice pace, and good explanation if needed. A bit pricier than others nearby, but there are so many lovely quirky rooms in the restaurant it is def worth a visit. Enjoyed a pre-dinner drink in the very small traditional bar at the front. Recommended and better than the other top rated restaurants we had pre booked, exquisite food, great portions and stunning surroundings, very reasonable for the quality, hubby said it was the best steak he had eaten for a long time and believe me he always chooses steak, loved this place just quality cooking and service
We had dinner here with friends for a 60th birthday celebration. Gorgeous setting on the terrace with a fabulous view of the sea. Food was excellent. We all had different things but the mushroom tart, suckling pig, salmon and fillet steak received rave reviews! Highly recommended.
Fantastic restaurant, food gorgeous, atmosphere incredible. We got a last minute booking and wasn't sure what to expect but we weren't disappointed. Service was attentive, food was exquisite. Will definitely be back on our next visit to Nerja. Réservez une table maintenant
