My husband picked this restaurant for our 2 families to have an authentic Portuguese meal. We were very warmly welcomed and served promptly. The waiting staff were fantastic, using broken English and our broken Portuguese they explained the menu perfectly.We opted for the fish plate for 2 and pork plate for 2. This came with sides of fries, rice and black beans.Between 4 adults and 3 kids we struggled to finish everything. Both plates were cooked to perfection and were absolutely delicious. We were brought extra meat and fries at no extra cost.The food and waiting staff couldn't have been any better.So why the 4 stars? This was purely for the fact that the part of the restaurant we were sat...
Although full of locals - we were quickly told German spoken downstairs & English upstairs! From the outside you have no idea how large the restaurant is inside. Place is clean & service prompt.Staff very helpful & informative. Only one menu in English! Portions of meat were huge and very tastey. Meat delivered on a very attractive platter garnished with fruit & various sauces. Prices by European standards were very cheap. Local wine selection was good - the carafed house red wine more than adequate.
Normal restaurant Quite a long menu with a lot of promises. However the taste is normal. Misses the wow factor. It is capable of a nice meal, better than at low level restaurants but still average. Some small teaks it could get a lot better. Nevertheless I still recommend if the other amazing ones around are full, as it might be quite the case.
We went to Restaurante Rosita for a family dinner. The staff are incredibly kind, helpful and always smiling. The food is both imaginative and simple, in line with traditional Portuguese cuisine. It is fresh, tasty and simply amazing. The beef, a rather rare dish in Alentejo, was particularly amazing! I would definitely go back again! Réservez une table maintenant
This Restaurant was recommended to us by the owner of the Villa re rented. We turned up with a Party of 15 and they were happy to find us space as the restaurant was obviously very popular. The service was excellent, especially as our Portuguese was poor. The food was amazing and the value unbelievable.
