Restaurante Bar Santanero

Great food and service. I had the traditional meal that both carne asada and carne oreada. Later is a kind of heart-dried beef. It was very chewing and a little salty, but good. The meal also included a Santander type arepa. I immediately recognized the taste. Unlike other Arepas, it is made of roasted maize flour. People who grew up like me in Pennsylvania are reminded of traditional Amisch roasted maize flour mush.
