Friends had recommended El Barbaron as a great place for mussels so we were disappointed to find they were off the menu when we visited. We did enjoy the skewers of prawns and cold fish plate washed down with some great Belgian Beers. Simple food, well cooked and reasonable value. Staff were very friendly so overall, felt like a good choice for lunch.
El Barbaron es un restaurante sólido y bueno donde puedes comer todos los días un delicioso menú diario. También puedes pedir varios platos sabrosos del menú a precios muy razonables. En definitiva, El Barbarón es muy recomendable entre un laberinto de restaurantes en Calpe.
Lovely food and the staff were really helpful . We ate from the main menu. The staff have excellent knowledge of the dishes and the food was well presented. There was sufficient time between course in a relaxing enviroment.Definitely worth a visit.
The food is very good but be aware there are no facilities to pay using plastic. The restaurant is very popular and making a reservation is a good idea. If you arrived on spec you are likely to be turned away. Closes at 20.30. Réservez une table maintenant
Ik zou nu graag willen eten voor de tweede keer in een fijne ambiance. Voor garnalen krukken en dan gamba's. Een verkrachter, zelfs van een ollander, die, door zijn betoverende werkgever, de vlammenkook is ook in de span!
Buenos dueños, gente amable que lo lleva entre los dos. Lástima que no se puede pagar electrónicamente ni con tarjeta. No me gusta llevar mucho dinero en efectivo.
