Första gången någonsin för familjen på denna restaurang, som ligger vid stranden av foz do arelho, strax utanför kalas da rainha i portugisiska. Stranden är en av våra favoritstränder som besöks regelbundet av oss på dagarna, men framåt kvällarna vi håller oss till staden. Personalen är behaglig och vi kände oss välkomna när vi kom till natten. Vi fick en plats vid ett bord på utomhussätet så att vi kunde se solen gå ner över vattnet. Solnedgången i foz do arelho är magisk så vi var spända om det. Maten serverades med ett leende och jag njöt av en underbar bläckfisk med tillbehör. perfekt kokta så att näsan smälte i munnen. Resten av familjen var också nöjd med sina val av mat och vi satt fo...
Family of 6 with 3 generations for a lunch. Really friendly service and very welcoming. Allergens marked on the menu but as having a person in the group being a celiac needed to double check on items were gluten free. All staff were really good to check for us. So were some dishes that could eaten but sadly not fries or any of the desserts. So staff kindly prepared fresh fruit instead. Fish of the day dishes were delicious but the octopus took star role and was cooked perfectly. All wonderful and would go back again.
Fantastic location on the beach of Foz do Arelho, Europa offers a good selection of seafood and meat. We visited for lunch and sat outside on the terrace, filled with customers. We had the shrimp salad, a good portion with about 5 shrimp, tomatoes and several types of fruit. Very refreshing. The other dish was octopus lagareiro, which was served with traditional potatoes, broccoli, beans and cabbage. Both dishes were very good, the staff attentive and friendly, and the proximity to the ocean can't get any better.
Location wonderful, however after being seated and our order placed , based on daily fish menu , we were advised 15 mins later that our choices were not available . Very strange given the restaurant was only open a half hour earlier and was not that busy . Menu then, very limited and too late to go elsewhere as wine was already served . Cheeky I thought ! Pricey for what was presented but not inedible. Staff friendly. Overall disappointed. Réservez une table maintenant
