We met Chef Jhon while waiting in line to buy tickets to a Nacional game at El Estadio. He was the nicest guy we met in Colombia (which is saying a lot as this country is filled with generous friendly people) and helped us buy our tickets. He told us about his restaurant and we felt like we must go the next day. We showed up and were greeted with the warmest welcome. He sent us out grilled paisa cheese that was simple yet absolutely delicious. Then we had a filet with bacon wrapped asparagus that was honestly one of the most tender filets I have had in my life. My wife and I went to Mama Santas based on a review in Medellin living blog. The face was a fantastic it is on a outline suburb of the city Medellin in a place called Sabeneta, it had an open terraces type of dining area. We came about 6:30 after opening and were the second couple there. My wife had baby beef and I had ribeye and the steaks were simply amazing, we had good sides, we had some good drinks to go with him juices. We finished with some amazing chocolate desserts all in all for the whole night taxi fare there and back dinner drinks and about 25% top $53. We are here several times, last this January and it is one of my favorite restaurants in Medellin. The service was top notch, friendly and efficient and the food was excellent and a good value. I had surfing and lawn, perfectly cooked delicate steak and the shrimps were great. All meals are served with a small salad, beautiful side potatoes and an Arepa for which I have no taste yet). We all shared a dessert. I love going here, it always feels like a special occasion

This is the second time we go to this restaurant and was delicious. Every sigle plate that we ask was excelent, the food,service ,the place. I recomend this restaurant if you come to Medellin don't miss this restaurant.

Great food... tasty drinks... love the Limonada-Vino-Tinto and the Basilys cheesecake. Filet mignon melts in your mouth. Good service, nice at 7 o'clock before it gets more crowded...

This restaurant has nice layout and cosy environment but the food is just regular and pretty high priced as you can get the same quality elsewhere for 20% less in Sabaneta.

My friend lives near there and we meet up once every time I am in town. This trip, I went for the ribs and they were excellant.

Nice place for grilled food. Personal favorite is the steak and langoustine. The place looks cool and is easy to find.

My New York steak was beautifully cooked. Loved the finca setting, very relaxing. Try the limonada de vino tinto.
