favas guisadas (Fava beans in sauce with black bauch and sausage) was excellent. like the local alheira sausage croquetas and the fresh cheese dipped with crumble and local olive oil. wonderful mandel and chestnut panna cotta dessert. friendly waitress was able to help in English fyi and she made a very nice pairing suggestions for my dessert. I came on a Monday of the carnival, so hard to say whether it was so busy in the regular, but it was full when I was here. waited about 30-40 for a table. Maybe best to make a reservation. these are great hearty meal times, for a few I would get only one escape and 1-2 appetizers instead of 2 escapes. we have two escapes and couldn't finish. every gues...

Barriga de porco com migas de tomate 5* Costeletinhas de borrego grelhadas 5* Favas com carne de porco 4* (nota se que os produtos utilizados são de grande qualidade, mas para o meu gosto estava insonso) Francesinha em bolo do caco 4* (a carne é super tenrinha, mas para o meu gosto o molho deveria ser um pouco mais picante) Trilogia de pecado transmontano: tarte de amêndoa, panacota de castanha e amêndoa com redução de moscatel e pudim de castanha e mousse de amêndoa 5* gelado de amêndoa 4*
