favas guisadas (Fava beans in sauce with black bauch and sausage) was excellent. like the local alheira sausage croquetas and the fresh cheese dipped with crumble and local olive oil. wonderful mandel and chestnut panna cotta dessert. friendly waitress was able to help in English fyi and she made a very nice pairing suggestions for my dessert. I came on a Monday of the carnival, so hard to say whether it was so busy in the regular, but it was full when I was here. waited about 30-40 for a table. Maybe best to make a reservation. these are great hearty meal times, for a few I would get only one escape and 1-2 appetizers instead of 2 escapes. we have two escapes and couldn't finish. every gues...
